We’re already halfway through SIHH week and I’ve still got a lot more brands to visit. The pace was definitely picked up today with far more brand presentations than the past two days.

This year was definitely the year of the Royal Oak at the Audemars Piguet booth. I first got to see the latest edition of the Royal Oak Concept, done in a matte Platinum case with a white ceramic bezel. The tourbillon movement is fitted with a central white ceramic bridge.

The recently adopted white ceramic made its way to other models such as the 44mm Royal Oak Offshore Novelty.

This year also saw an update to the iconinc 42mm Royal Oak Offshore, where most of the rubber elements have been replaced with black ceramic. The dials have also been redesigned in new colors dial colors with updated hour markers and hands. The 42mm Royal Oak Offshore have also been fitted with display backs.

My next appointment was with none other than Greubel Forsey, where they presented 3 new versions of some of their existing super-complicated pieces like the GMT in Platinum with a black dial and movement treatment, a diamond baguette-set Tourbillon 24 sec Contemporain and a black Double Tourbillon 30° Technique.

On my way to the airport’s train station to catch a ride to the city (SIHH takes place in an exhibition space just outside Geneva’s airport) I made a quick stop to check out what JEANRICHARD had in store, like these new blacked-out DLC Terrascope models. The recently unveiled Aeroscope “208 Seconds” for Capt Sully was also being presented.

Girard Perregaux were also presenting a handful of upcoming releases, which I can’t quite share with you just yet. I can however show you the recently announced Chrono Hawk models with integrated steel bracelets in two new dial colors.

Once in the city, I made way to the Four Season’s to finally see Linde Werdelin’s Oktopos Moon Tattoo in the metal.

And finally, just one floor below Linde Werdelin, Breva were showcasing their latest piece, the Génie 02 with an afjustable altimeter; just in time for the skiing season.
