Every year during the fair, the weekend becomes extraordinarily hectic, seeing not only an influx of clients and journalists but also locals just wanting to check out the show. Baselworld 2014 has certainly been upholding the tradition. Still, Day 4 was overall a solid day for The Horophile, scoring a few photo shoots and CEO interviews for a video series I’ll tell you all about soon.
Unfortunately however, because I haven’t been getting more than 3 hours of sleep per night since Baselworld started, I’m going to make these posts more of a photoessay, as in any case I’ll be offering a closer look at all the watches shown throughout the Baselworld 2014 posts once the show is over.

I notice that on the “Upside-Down” watch, the “6” is not upside-down. I wonder if this was a mistake, or intentional?

Hey Stefan,
It’s actually how you read the time
If you notice, there’s only one central hands, for the minutes. The hour is read by the hour marker that is the right way up, in this case 6.

Ah, so the numbers turn around, one at a time?
